Mini friends...

I have mini problems...minor to most i suppose but to me its major!! being as i dont have a Danny LaRue about mini engines...

Right my mini is blowing different tones!! and my rev counter is showing signs of being possessed by the devil himself...i have been told it may have something to do with the G Cat...

I have cleaned the dizzy, and the HT leads..so its no way that!!

Anyone have a clue of what it could be and how to make it better...???

Thanks all...

If the rev counter is playing up and your engine is not running right, then its a good sign that the coil has either a bad connection or is on its way out.

but it equally well could be a bad connection. Especially if the rev counter is diving to zero.

I would check the fuses, especially if you have inline ones behind the air filter - the hot exhaust does a good job of cooking them and making them brittle

I would also check your butterfly valve and pin in Carb - my red number had problems about a month ago..bottomed out half way to Taunton (bout hours drive) and refused to rev anything lower than screeming pitch. My 2p anyhoo.
