Hi,

Today, (bank holiday monday) i set myself a task. This was to sort out my roof once and for all. As it was a nice warm sunny day, i thought it would be appropriate. :)

Tools:

Very Blunt Craft knife
2 Sponges
Cif Abrasive Cream
2 mugs of tea
and Elbow Grease :)

For this task i required some help so my father accompinied me.

We started at 3:10 with carefully scraping the paint off with the Very Blunt Craft knife. See Pics 1 and 2. Some parts came off very easily and others were a pain in the arse. :nugget:

Once it was scratched off it left a pinky mark.

So we decided to get some Cif cream (didnt have any T-Cut, and being it bank holiday know where was open) and 2 sponges and started wiping it on the pink bits. The majority came off with out a struggle but there were a few points that were very tough and required some aggressive rubbing. See pic 3.

Once we had managed to get rid of the pinky mess i waxed the roof and heres the finished product. The sun made it very bright  See picture 4.

After waxing the roof my dad thought why not wax the boot maybe it will sort out the problem of its fade in colour. And he was right  See pic 5

As he did that i waxed the rest of the car and heres a few pics of it finished. See pic 6,7,8, and 9.

Time Finished 5:12
