after the hassle with the battery conking out recently, bit the bullet and bought a new one.. first thing I noticed this morning is heat coming out of the heater!!!

I was convinced the knobs and switches must be busted until now ...

hope I have put the battery problem behind me and can move on to the next interesting feature which has appeared - SOMETIMES slightly lumpy when pressing the throttle (too much oil, too little oil - too heavy clubfooted behaiour, too high a gear... !???? could be anything. at least the beggar started this morning)

If your impressed by a new battery, give your car a service (new air filter, new spark plugs, new HT leads, new rotor arm condensor, flush out your cooling system and put in water and coolant and oil change, then take to a rolling road to have it tuned, your car will seem alot livelier!

I know the spark plugs are new - they are gleeeeaming there under the bonnet, and looks like the oil is pretty damned clean and new too.

the rest sounds like more than I can handle right now. we have a vespa that needs new indicators and some brake testing, a GN250 that needs the chain case putting back on, oh and some crazy home comforts like food on the table.

pah who needs food on the table we can eat it in the mini...!!

I was good girl and gave it a hoover and a dust over at the weekend. for me thats extreme maintenance.. have topped up the radiator, and checked oil again and stuck a big sign on the steering wheel that says LIGHTS OFF ...

:smartass:

as for tuning it up, I dont need it going faster or anything, Im still wide eyed crazy at 50mph up and down the A14... ooh - one good reason to avoid a hangover.

ooo -yeah, every little helps (tesco dont shoot me for nicking yer line there)

hopefully when we get some cash flowing again we'll start to address the finer points of car ownership. my last car was a yugo...it was happy as long as I gave it petrol now and then. What a tank.. !!
