pic of corbeau recliners to go in and 7x13 minilights. tyres are good but rims need shotblasting as quite oxidised. thinking about old english mini/cream alloys, same on roof and dark racing green (the really dark jaguar one) bodywork.

Yellow top is not quite as good as the red top - apparently it has something to do with the timing belt pulleys ?? They can be changed to better ones but there may be other differences - also I have a red top (cover ONLY)yellow top? please explain- vauxhall speak is new to me. also, more details on that brake set up (mmmmmmmmmm)
The brakes - well I have most of the detail on our website, we manufacture them to fit YOUR 13" wheels so we would need a "silouette" of your rims with dimensions etc.....
maybe this link will help - http://www.mra-minis.../megabrakes.htm

Did I mention they start off at 285mm diameter and we machine them down to fit, the smallest so far has been 260mm - on some really funny offset rims

im in the vauxhall scene and have never heard of a 'yellow top'. There were three forms of the redtop engine.
With dizzy and no cat - 156bhp (astra gtes)
With dizzy and cat - 150bhp (astras, cavs, calibras)
Without dizzy with cat - 150bhp (astras, cavs, calibras)(93/94)
Then after 94/95 came the ecotec engine with 136bhp.
I myself had a diss pack XE with just exhaust, filter and no cat which was 162.2bhp and 158.3 lb/ft torque.
They are great engines and really love to rev, if you are going for tbs and mega-squirt, stick in some ARP rod bolts and you will be not far off 190bhp

Not sure if this is true for Vaux convevrsions, but for my Vtec conversion I've been strongly advised to get a donor car, can be just as cheap as an engine, and you then know whether its running and that you'll have all the bits you need.

Off topic but MRA those brakes are tasty.
On Topic.
I agree with Jammy, it could be better to get a donor car as you get all the electrical componets and you know the engine runs, as well as being able to sell some parts on on ebay to make up your money.

but then uve either gotta find a rear end write off which would be cheaper, or try n find a astra GTE that someone dont want, and if i had one i wouldnt sell it, and i'd want quite a bit for one, isnt there a company thats drive in drive out 2l conversion with subby and everything included???
my mate wants one in a round nose, but think he's just pipe dreaming.
