Hi,
You're fitting a hot ignition switch?
Cheers  :proud:

Nah , cookers broke as well .( I’ll have to use microwave to heat up switch instead) .. just in case I didn’t have enough to fix!

Needed a fair bit of tweaking to get them in line and level... particularly the accelerator pedal, but job done

Heater back in and plumbed ... will check for leaks another time . Looks tighter against dash rail and switch and fan works. While it was off also managed to attach new fresh air tube from inner arch

Had to move washer button again !

Ok 2 steps forward 2 back again ... it’s my signature dance

Wasn’t happy with play in column so dismantled again ... of course the washer pump that I’ve moved twice was in the way do had to remove it again

Reseated lower bush on column

Then attacked ignition .... drilled holes in bolts and used as purchase for hitting with screwdriver hammer combo ... both came out easier than expected

Lot more wires than I needed on new ignition... so just guessed, Loosely put together to check, hey presto

Adapted drivers seat brackets - pics compare before/ after

Now front seat is mm off cross member , about 1 1/2” lower than passenger . Leaving passenger side on standard bracket.

Good progress. Some nice bits of bling-bling!

Enlighten us...
