i also had the smae problem with the 6x9s under the rear seat, good place to put them but very bad for air movement

I had a pair of 6"x9"'s on the back shelf. Cut the holes with a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade attached. Had to take the fuel tank out but other than that it was a piece of p!ss.
I've ditched the 6x9's for the minute as i couldn't hear them for the sub anyway and was geeting fed up of destroying them. Got some JBL power series 5" components in the front and they do the job quite well when teamed up with the sub.

iv got a carbon firbre look dash and console so thats why iv done them like that :)

erm....all i did was a piece ov mdf....cut the shape cit the hole out for the speaker.......carbon fibre paper around the edge and topped it wiv carpet!

so not long no!

i aint got any good pics of the dash as iv only just fotted it!


will be on dashofcolour website wen i do though as i said id send him a few pics!

all sounds good, i currently have speakers in/on my shelf but one is knackered and gives out a blurred noise so i may get some new ones soon and may need to cut some more space out of the shelf.

The holes in my shelf look like they have been made with a screwdriver, ive never seen a hole cut out so badly before. As for the speakers , they are just small pioneer ones I think .
