Well thats the thing, the bulk head box is done so thats why the t3 was probably easier now its all done. But with all this talk of the t2 i just woundered if it was much more work? I heard something bout the actuator needs re mounting and the compressor housing needs turning round? Plus the t2-t3 adaptor plate!

If the box is done - you have two choices:
Mount the T2 onto the T3 manifold using an adaptor plate (see link below).
You then have to cut-and shut the elbow to mate with the downpipe, or make a new elbow/downpipe complete. You will have to index the centre core to get it vertically oriented, and then the compressor housing.
Then you need to weld a pipe onto the compressor outlet as this is too close to the manifold for a hose. Then you need to mount the actuator on a bracket you'l fabricate / modify.
Then you need to plumb in the water-cooling (if you wish).
Then you have to fabricate an oil drain
Then you have to get a new oil supply pipe - or just the union if you already have a flexi-hose as the T2 is a different inlet fitting to the T3 (there are two T2 threads aswell!!!)

400 on 4 greys?

Just about... you can run to near 300 on std injectors with some very careful mapping.

But greys are nasty and old tech (like my lovely T3s...)

but you know what they say black is the new grey!

What is the black then? :)
High impedance by chance??? (doubt it!!!!) :P

I'll upload a picture of the MPi nozzle - it looks a lot different to any i've seen before (or since)...

As i said on 16v mini - these look like real hidden gems in the 'buget' tuning world!!!

I wouldnt fit the T3 if you want it to be on boost early on in the rev range. The smaller the better......to an extent. The whole point of fitting a mirage kit is that it all goes together with the T2 and creates more space behind the motor.

:) :P Behave! I dont look into it that closely. I tend to follow what works best. Mind you, whilst doing research in to turboing my 7 Port, Ive got to start looking in to it. :smartass:

Suppose if you were really serious bout injecting and big power, you could use the rs200 8 injector set up with light blues! Good for bout 700 lol

Quite alot of work to fit the t2 then. Think i'll raise the cr like i previously said and run a t3. It'll be interesting to see if it does work out reliable, be fun to i suppose! But im gonna keep working on this head to lower the cr that way iv got a fall back plan! :)

Cheers!

Just realised that the t2 off my rs wont fit as its the triangular type manifold fitment! That really confirms i'll be using the t3! Sure i haven't got another t2 lurking round! Iv got the metro t3s coming out my ears! lol

Cheers!

How much earlier do they come on boost when compared against a Metro T3 ?

Any views on the idea of water injecting the cylinders? This was an idea i had a the start of the topic. Vizzard seems to think its worth it, but i can't think of away of ensuring the 2 outer cylinders get same amount (if not more) water. :)

Cheers!
