Evening all,

As some of you may know i own a company, along with my business partner Justin, who primarily specialise in vehicle customs and modifications, primarily one off fabricated parts, sound systems, automated parts, lighting, all those kind of areas.

We have started making switch panels, to pretty much whatever spec you want,

http://www.theminifo...howtopic=173129

And were now curious as to what parts you have seen that you have been interested in, but that no-one currently makes? Or what about an idea you have had but don’t have the facilities to fabricate yourself? We will consider almost any suggestion, and will offer commission to people who present there own ideas and can prove them to be there’s.

We were looking at doing the daytime driving light headlight rings that appeared to be popular in another thread.

Before anyone says it, we don’t make huge profit of any of these products, the small quantities we machine in wouldn’t make it viable to stick big profit margins on them as well, its more for producing parts that people want, that just aren’t available, as if everyone does the same thing, the mini community will never progress!

Post up any ideas you’ve got and we will consider them for production!

Thanks
Rich

Myredmini - Do you mean as in the plastic liners that sit up inside? Its mainly metal products were looking at product, and do mini-spares not sell here, or have i got compleatly the wrong end of the stick as usual? :)

Mike - Any ideas as to what you would like to see?

How about some form of clear rocker cover that wont let oil stick to the inside of it? So you can see the rockers/valves etc working.

They certainly used to be, but they are readily available on E-Bay and even minispares stock them these days Clicky or are you referring to a different type of wheel arch liner?

In recent weeks there has been a bit of interest here in the "Low tubular spot lamp bar" that used to be made by "TT Lyle" and is now no longer available. See This Thread & this one. I would certainly be interested in buying a replacement version in the future as mine has seen better days!

I really wish that the Australian MK1 doors would be reproduced. For us southern Americans driving these minis you would have a huge market. Some days in the summer it gets up to 92-94 F/ 33-34 C and its mega rough with those slider windows.....

I like the clear rocker cover idea, not too sure how we wuld go about getting this done but i will look into it.

Avvit - the lamp bars certainly look viable, i will look into them.

I will also look into doors, i suspect these will be too much to be viable but again i will do some research.

As for Carbon, we dont want to steal any work from the real experts such as Carbon weasle and ABS.

If you end up being able to do those doors shoot me a PM as I would be VERY interested. I also like the ideas above mine for roof racks and a tow bar.

and I reckon that a more competitively priced "Monte Carlo" style roof rack Like This would sell like hot cakes. I'd certainly buy one, if it came in under the £100 mark!
