Hi
I have just got some bullet mirrors off of ebay. I have tried to trial fit a mirror on a refurbed door I've got. I can see that I am going to need to drill a couple of new holes for the bolts, but my problem is getting the bolts up inside the door and screwed into the mirror. I stripped the door completely but still cannot gain access. Please could someone enlighten me on how they have fitted theirs.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

when i fitted mine, i was able to get the rear bolt into the mirror, nimble fingers and all, but the front one was a nightmare.

what i had to do was to drill a hole on the inside of the car door, this was pluged up with a rubber grommet, after fitting.

they look good, but dont expect to be able to use the passanger one, as a mirror, i cant see anything worth while out of it.

As for the mirrors. Fit them at an angle. You will have a hole under the mirror bracket in the door. I just simply put a Domed Chrome nut and bolt in it. Looked good.

Both mirrors are also 100% useable too.

i bought 'tex' bullet mirrors and they came with the black plastic base plates and fitted a treat. plus fully moveable so both mirrors can be used.
