greetings from ontario, canada.
just signed up after looking through the site. nice.
to introduce myself:
i'm 24 have a 1977 Austin Mini 1000 (canadian spec). Took me about 1.5yrs to restore and have been driving it for about 5yrs now.
it has a metro 1300 block in it, with the head recently being skimmed, ported, flowed, and hardened valve seats installed. Just boxed my bulk head and have a 40DCOE ready to go on. Has metro 4 pot vented discs, and all adjustable suspension.
ICE cosnsits of 2 Earthquake dbx 12's powered by an earthquake 500.1 amp. Alpine head, and 5 1/4 eclipse speakers in the dash. 2 pioneer 6*9 4ways in the rear shelf, and custom fiberglass boxes which now sit where most of my back seat once did.
and much more.
look forward to contributing and learning.

tanks for the warm welcome.
last summer:
now: (should be on the road mid may)
ha ha. Just have to prime and paint the engine compartment.
I fabricated a cold air intake out of tube and sheet metal to hold my heater core as I removed it, but it hit my light pod when I fitted the front back up. So looks like I have some more work!! ah. but nothing a hammer can't fix!! ha ha.

If you are there, we will have to meet up. are you planning on registering for it?
If you need any small parts taking over, I still have some room left in the suitcase.
I am staying at the Red Roof motel for the event.
Siggy
