That the adjuster that fits onto the bias bar?

EG shape? i had 1 of them for a while, fun little cars with plenty of potential.

No I have one in the line itself. They're designed to be used to limit the rears on single line systems but you can use them on dual line with the same effect. I didn't like the angles I got on the bar with the brakes adjusted how I wanted.

This on but paid less elsewhere.

No EF shape. ED7 to be precise, I had one about 5 years ago and now I have another.

Ah cool dude, any pics of it? have a good friend has a nice wee 1 of the EF Shape civics, def getting harder to find these days; especially a good one

Nothing much, just tidy it up slowly and improve it for track use. Need to chop the sill ends of and re do them and the paints poor all over.

Just put some s2000 brakes on it.

Engine is almost ready to go :).

Water pump and controller are sorted and nearly everything is wired up.

It's taken me a while to sort the actuator out but i'm fairly happy with this. Just needs tidying up and painting.

Knocked up a new little dash with afr/boost gauge, oil pressure, voltmeter (in the post). Can see the water pump controller on the right, this also controls the fan.

Fuel lines.

I am waiting on an intercooler. I did want to sort something in the inner wing with a duct but i've given up searching for an intercooler of a standard car that would fit. Gone for a 2wd cossie behind the bonnet with a few holes in the bonnet. Although i'm going to try something a little different with the holes.

Nice work mate, you had a chance to try the water pump out yet?

No, i'm sure it will be fine though. They're rated quite highly.

Changed my mind again on an intercooler. Found this of a mazda 323gtx. It fits perfectly, its not massive but with a nice duct it should be quite capable.

I've started on a duct for the intercooler. Hopefully it will get enough air through it. I will probably cover it in something to keep the heat away.

It's close :D.

Duct is in after a bit of fettling and boost hoses roughly in place.

Also got an MG metro housing which helps get the hose in a better position for the rad. Thank you David! (Tadge44).

My list of things to do is now quite short. Hoping it'll be up and running mid January.

New plenum. Thanks Matt. Fits all good.

Slightly lower and wider to keep the volume the same. It clears my bonnet nicely. Only issue is now the carb doesn't! It's higher than it was on the old engine due to the engine being tilted forward and the turbo inlet sits higher.

Not read this in a while so just updated myself. Great work as always man. Bummer about the carb now not fitting under the bonnet. Got a plan to solve that or you just gonna raise the bonnet up at the back?

Thanks, I filed the carb dash pot down a little and took a little off the bonnet as its pretty thick anyway and that's sorted it.

Hopefully this the final mock up in the engine bay minus a oil catch can and steel rocker cover.

I just need to go through and tighten everything up.

10669043_10153924047681654_5674392180360

I then have....

Exhaust to fit
Fuel tank to bolt in
Fuel lines
Base map mj
Wiring tidy up (to acceptable level, will rip it all out next year).

Fingers crossed it works lol.
