Proper mad weight saving, think the front end will be interesting but looking forward to seeing the updates

I love the meticulous approach to the weight saving. I imagine with that level of commitment, you must drive it starkers (accept for maybe a nomex suit)?!

 

I'd have to worry about losing 10kg off my gut before spending time and money on anything else.

Cheers :). Front is changing as mines got quite a bit of damage, I want a removable front for ease of working on it and this is probably a 1/3rd of the weight of the standard front haha.

I think it’s worth it. The lighter it is the faster it is.

good call dude mines off via 4 allen bolts and a couple of clips so much easier.

going for plastic pins of the front subframe and two alloy duez style fasteners on the A panel. Might also bolt bonnet channel bits to the scuttle depending on how solid it feels.

A little, worst bits were the scuttle cuts and then prying the sections off the A pillars.
