pistons, i havent measured the dish yet, they are secondhand, i bought them off someone at work, he had them fitted in his mg midget race car, only ran 1 race with them, then went for a smaller dish to raise the compression. theyll do the job though i reckon, its easier to raise the c/r, but not so easy to lower it. i think their forged, not 100% though.

any guesses how much i paid for them, with rings and gudgeon pins?

they were a ickle bit grubby, you can see also the blocks 11 stud now.

hi all, thanks for the help so far, very much appreciated :xmas: just trying to do a spreadsheet of how much everything is going to cost me, and what bits i need, any ideas how much ill be looking at for a t3 turbo, turbo and carb rebuild kits, metro turbo carb, manifolds, plenum chambers, etc? Ive also added in-car adjustable boost valve thingy to my list, as well as a decent boost gauge.

rough prices i'd sell/buy stuff for would be about:

T3 & manifold £75-100
carb/inlet/plenum £60-100
fuel pump and reg £50-60 ish

Phil sells the carb rebuild kits, can't remember the price but think they're about £40 maybe and definately worth doing.

wow, a bit cheaper than i thought itd be, yes, id rebuild the carb anyway just as a matter of course, what about rebuilding the turbo, or is that a task best left to a specialist, if so how much shall i budget for for that? Many thanks, much appreciated.
