about the scammer thing shifty,
if a scammer wanted to con loads of people to buy goods and not send
they're probably going to use paypal yes?
then whats £5 to join TMF+ going to impact the amount made conning people?
makes it abit more akward i guess, and TMF gets another £5 but doesnt actually solve the situation?
(or benifit the members much )
Lol
Sorry but I missed this!!
To answer..
In the event of a scam taking place we would have the offenders pay-pal details on file(from the TMF+ membership) also their name as well. Thats the start of a paper trail for the police.
Most scammers are looking for easy targets, paying the £5 over before you start is a hurdle that will stop them, hopefully they'll move onto an easier and free target.

yea this is just another example of a thread being taken out of context, dragged out and sidetracked away from the initial point.
and seemingly a waste of time.
whered you get that union jack roof from? is it sprayed on?

personally i think you should remove that hurdle and put a wall up lol!
the thing about the wanted ad's is a good idea too
say like 25post if there has to be a limit
but i guess you can only raise or lower the limit of an entire section?
so would have to be a entire new section for wanted?

The wanted section was included to deter timewasters as well. The post count means that you can look at your buyers post history, see if they have a habit of messing people around.

My view is that trading stuff on here is needs to be by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, items here are cheaper than fleabay(I sell my stuff here cheaper than I would on ebay)
To benefit from this, members should make a commitment to the site, either financial or by posting.

but to have 150 posts to write a wanted post? am i not serious about buying if i only have 97 posts?
How do I know?
What I do know is that if you had made another 53 post I would have a better idea.
