Is it rare to have all the glass in my mk1 original as every Pain of glass has number plate etched on them! Thought this may make I more unique!

Nice, she looks lovely! Would love to get my hands on a mk1 at some point. Feels like I'm trying to keep an oldie alive with my '92 cooper so you've got something well worth bringing back to former glory there ;)

This will be an intersesting one to follow, I don't envy the amount of work you have there.

Think you may be needing a new exhaust though !!

Best of luck

Steve

Wow, .... This brings back memories for me, ... I've had about 15 mini's and each one had it's own unique story ;-)

Good luck with the project mate, you certainly have your work cut out there and look forward to your progress ;-)

Not a bad looking project. Are you going to convert it to dry or keep it on hydrolastic?

By the way, if you want to date your glass, click on the link below, as it is possible to date it to a specific month depending on the manufacturer.

http://drcwww.uvt.nl/~bogaard/glas.htm

Good luck with the build.

I am going to keep hydro suspension but need to look into it to see if it's salvageable
