hey guys i was wondering what sort of price is it to do a rover engine conversion also :

what sort of bhp are you looking at ?
how difficult it is and how much work?
the advantages and disadvantages are?

As said in the other posts
This can't really be answered as it depends on many things, what skills you have, what engine you go for, the subframe you choose. If you have the time and skills you could have it running on next to nothing or it could be an endless pit of money

i haven't put it in a mini yet but my 1.8 k series lump is running 200 bhp @ the crank and 178 @ the wheels with a ported head and exige throttle bodies with emerald engine management cost me about £2000 inc the metro it was fitted in
