Just getting an idea of prices before decide to sell soon..

I have an Austin Mini (1962 i think) with 850 engine.

Beige colour with black roof and brown leather interior, all original all round. Original Steel wheels with chrome hubcaps.

I think it may need new sills as rusted through floor a bit.

Engine was running fine when I had it but not touched it for a year so needs bit of attention to get it running.

Tax extempt (Sorn at moment) and needs M.O.T

Whats it worth?

Many thanks in advance

I assume that the number plate is 3 letters and 3 numbers. You may find that it is more valuable than the car. Do you know if it's transferrable?

Its 3 letters/numbers first and then 4 letters/numbers.. apparently historic. Not sure about transferrable but have the logbook and everything for the car anyway.

The log book will tell you when the car was first registered.

It is confirmed that this is 1971.

Any idea on value considering a few spots of rust here and there..

If I were a buyer I would be quite concerned about the underseal so high up the body and wonder what it is hiding? This, in addition to the rusted through sills etc.

Still it's an old, tax-exempt, very original car and is ripe for a full restoration.

I would say £500-£1,000 as a project, perhaps a bit more if you get 2 or 3 interested parties in an ebay auction.

Ah, that underseal.. Im not sure what it is but the previous owner said they couldnt match the colour when it took a small knock on the side so it was painted black instead to match on both sides.
