I think that £2,850 is probably not a bad price at the moment to be honest. A few years ago then you could probably have got more like £4k - £5k for it , but the market for cars above the 2.5k mark is currently very small. Don't get me wrong it looks like a really great car, but the realistic number of potential buyers out there for that sort of car is always going to be limited and especially at the moment when money is so tight. Both the spec and the price tag are a bit too high for the average mini owner and the purists with the deep pockets won't be interested in it because of how it has been modified.

As others have said, if you need to get rid of it quickly then £2,850 is probably not a bad figure. But if you can afford to keep hold of it for a few years then you really would be better to wait a while. At this time of year you might also want to consider taking it along to some of the summer shows and displaying it in the "minis for sale" sections. From what I've seen, cars tend to command slightly higher prices at shows mainly because potential buyers get a bit carried away with looking at minis all day and are more likely to pay "over the odds" in order to buy themselves a piece of the action before going home! :genius:
