Hi,

Any idea of a value? Thinking of possibly selling as my wife never uses it.

It looks better in the pic than it really is and if we do decide to sell, the previous owner has 1st refusal.

Mot to Nov - will need repairs to off side front floor.
Engine is 1310 with Longman head, I'm told lightened flywheel, unknown cam and the usual filter exhuast mods etc. 0-60 is approx 9.5 seconds.
The boot floor is welded flat, rear arches tubbed and rear bins removed. Theres been extensive repairs at the rear end and has had a quick spray over with non matching paint but is very solid.
Theres a webber air box and turbo box. No headling. 12" alloys, metro turbo brakes, I'd have to look re suspension. Rear sub is pretty new though. New carpet. CD player and 6x9's.

you'd probably get more response with a few more photos that show the condition of the car

i reckon given the modifications such as flat boot floor etc, its worth about £2500-2750, its a nice looking mini, and a mk3 which is always good, but the modifications can limit the potential sales market

More pics, oh and there's no roof lining and the drivers foot well needs a bit of welding, passengers appears fine though. Battery, fuel and brake lines run inside the car.

I'd agree, £1200 is about its max, lots to put right rot wise.

Plus lots of non original bits.

There's not a lot left of a Mk3 there.
Has it got rod or remote gearbox?
So much of it is just wrong.

I'd be guessing at around £1500 tops at the moment

Hi all
I would like to see it close up, before thinking of buying, (which I am not)

No rad cowl, later brake system, washer bottle, a+ engine with
Rod change,
Ok all things that could be changed over the years but.

I know I am a bit out off touch with price’s £1000+ not for me
The only value is the number plate in my eyes.

£1k tops. could make a tiny bit more on fleabay on a good day. if i was looking at it to buy in would only be looking around the £5-600 mark.
needs lot of work and the welding in the boot looks nasty.

Thanks for all the opinions everyone, this section is really helpful. I know it's not in the best condition and not very original, it's good fun and puts a smile on my face though, shame it doesn't get used much!

looking at the new pics uploaded, i would of said less than £1k, body wise it looks fairly poor, oversills too by the look of it, needs alot of work!

There being no rad cowl doesn't mean its not a mk3. They were removed somewhere between 1971 and 72 from what I have seen.

Edit. Doh! it states its a 1970!!! sorry
