I'm really sorry to hear that. It might help if you can put up some pictures and the reg so people know what to look out for. I hope you get your mini back.

I cant understand how some one could see that as scrap.... surely not.

Did you leave it unlocked or what? Probly just low loaded and off to some ones barn or where house of stolen cars

Harsh luck

If it ran out of petrol, or had a very small amount in, maybe it would be worth getting in contact with any petrol stations around the vicinity, but depends on how much petrol you had in it to how big that radius could be I guess...

Like i said, go down every scrappy ASAP within a good 30 mile radius and either aware them to its status, and have a look round the yard aswell just incase

Its not a case of them seeing it as scrap, its a case of them thinking they could earn a quick buck.
They seem to think of the world different to us.

Thats a good idea, but I rekon it was more an opportunist passing by with a low loader

I know that Bypass well. I'll keep my eyes open. But Most Likely it'll get 'ringed'

This is why

a) TMF won't allow sales on V5 and Vin plates
b) We should contact crime stoppers if we see anyone selling a car without a v5 on ebay.
c) If restoration projects are too quick

that does look like his, and they could have out new wheels and stripes on it.
also it is only a 1 day auction and the way they want to get rid of it quick.
