um, says it don't exsist - im [email protected]. I know what you mean about finishing, i'm in two minds.. 1 is that my mini city's mot runs out in june and it'll need some work to get it done - which i would prefer to take of the road and do properly... the other is that I want a supurb estate, which I shouldnt rush.. ulrgh, but doing that I caught myself thinking I'd keep it as a show car - but whats the point in that.

I'm about to start the body work, which I'm dreading!

Hi, I'm still loving the project mate! Coming along great! Be carfull you don't scratch that nice paint when reassembling, eh! I think I'm going to spray the inside and engine bay of mine myself, then get all the interior and engine in, then get a pro to do the outside right at the end! :w00t:

Whats next on the agenda then Jae?

Well, I need to spend this week wet sanding it and buffing it out - Ulrgh..

Then, I'm kinda forced into finishing off the rear subby and reassembling it (done all the radius arms etc), then its getting it as a rolling shell :w00t: Might put some of the interior trim in before, but can't really add any weight to the car before lifting it off the trolly on to the subbys (haven't figured that one out yet!)

I was thinking of a pro job, but I have a really low budget and a strict time limit before I have no car.. As my first attempt at spraying I think I've done well :w00t: (if i can get all the orange peel out).

:(

Then its trying to figure out the wiring.. urlgh

What did you find the easiest way of getting the paint off as im going to start getting mine off in a few weeks time. Infact could you explain how you did your whole paint job please, as im a complete novice when it comes to paint :-s

Tim

Got the paint from a chap call john, he owns http://www.carpaint.co.uk :P as for the paint I mainly sanded it..

I'll write up a full "how i painted my car" post in the next week - still sanding down tiny bits of orange peel. :) other wise I document every thing on my website, including photos http://www.podnuts.com

:P

If you have any questions, im happy to help :P
