I want to have my car painted that bright red that Audi rs4's
With my black roof and black archers i think it will look cool, just wondering were to get the paint from and would it be too bright.

thanks Chris

your best bet it to find a local paint supplier that can mix the paint for you.
i used halfords for mine and the paints good.
prices were £10 for rattle can £15 for half litre and £30 for litre if i remember correctly.

you will need the manufacturers colour code though for them to mix it up

or alternatively just find a bright red thats ready to buy..

i would say so with them being a very close match,, you would probably get away with flatting the paint to give it a key.
im not a expert with paint so im not 100% sure. someone else on here will know for deffo.

Yip
No problem in doing that, you can paint over, but you will need to make sure you get 2 good coats down of you new paint or you might see colour variations in the red.

Would be the same if you painted over primer too.

Paint code wise, below I have listed the 2006 paint codes for Audi reds

paint codes
LZ3G Canyon Red Pearl (kind of red/burgundy)

LZ3F Garnet Red Prl (Looks a bit darker than the audi in the pic)

LY3J Brilliant Red (this looks the closest to what you have in the pic)

LY3C Amulet Red (Bright red but looks a little darker than your pic)

cheers
Shaz
