I'm just wondering what people think my Mini is worth as I am thinking of selling it as is due to too many family commitments.

Its a 1982 Mini 1000 HLE

No MOT or TAX

Shell is exceptionally solid with just a couple of tiny pimples of rust in a couple of places.

Fitted 1293cc Engine which is currently a non-runner with reconditioned gearbox and HIF44 carb (kncking noise after 15mins running).
I also have a cracking little 998cc engine (complete) that I know the history of so this can go with it or be sold separately.

Alloy radiator

Samco pipes

Electronic Dizzy

Brand new Cooper S 7.5" disc set up

New Alternator

10" Minilite Alloy wheels with good Falken tyres

Original cream interior

10" Steering Wheel

Loads and loads of paperwork

Halogen light

There is also a brand new full length roofrack as well - again can be sold with it or sold separately

Loads of spares as well

Worth more in bits as you know.

Are the wheels 10 x 4.5? If so I may be interested?

is always a shame to break a mini but unless you tax and test it wouldnt see it getting over a grand, id either break it or finish it

Why is it a bin runner, do you know? If you can get it fixed, taxed any not'd you will get more for it. The fwd looks tidy you do make reference to rust spots but in all honesty mate by the looks of the scuttle under the rubber I wouldn't say the car is "exceptional" your possibly setting yourself up for someone to try and knock you down more

it ran about 2 yrs ago when the guy who owned it before me installed the 1293 engine.
after 15 mins a knocking noise came from the engine so he rolled it back into his garage and left it there.

the rust on the scuttle has been like that for years and i think the pics are making it worse than it really is.

i sourced the 998 engine as i knew the history of it and the seller very well

my plan was to replace the engine - get it mot's and then use it.

now other commitments have forced me into the situation of selling it as is

i could split it but why......im not desparate for every last penny.

what do people see the following items worth -

shell with v5
pair of v.good solid doors
solid boot lid
solid bonnet
1293 re-built engine and gearbox (non-runner)
Hiff 44 carb with manifold
Brand new cooper s 7.5" discs
alloy rad
electronic ignition
very good complete 998 engine and gearbox
10" minilites with good falken tyres
halogen headlamps
rear subfame complete
front subframe
10" steering wheel
glass
wiring loom
original interior
roofrack
