Would You Pay For?

wheel alignment
castor
camber
ride height
damper checks
corner weighing
etc
at a reasonable cost would people be prepared to pay to find out how there cars are set once upgrades such as hi-lo's etc have been fitted, with the view to having any neccessary alterations made.
Im sure many cars have been set with how the oowner thinks they should be but could be made so much better.
like i say just a quick thought but would be interesting to see what people think
cheers matt : )

if you promoted the service through the network of nearby mini specialists you'd probably get a fair bit of work...
us
Jonspeed
Tamworth mini spares
Smart Performance
mra minis
Covics
etc etc

Dampers on a Mini don't affect wheel alignment, castor, camber, ride height or corner weighting.Deffo, only got to change your dampers and your set up is shot, I would pay for someone to set it all back up

the KYB gas adjust alters the ride height, nobody say they dont because i have seen it with my own eyes on my own mini! so they can adjust the suspension set up!

possibly something similar to track road and race.
im due to finish uni in a few weeks so not looking at anything just yet but means when i do finish will hopefully be able to afford some nice new scales. Autograss you see so want to set up own car properly and means i can play till my hearts content.
thought whilst ive got them may be able to help others out with their own set ups as quite righly mentioned even just dismantling things can alter geometries especially with rubber bushes.
Im not a company so will just be a small paid favour for a friend if you get my drift, and be done as and when i have spare time. Also wont be trying to feed people with ******* that most places do when it comes to these sorts of things.
If local folk are interested ill keep in touch as to when ive got them and can take from there

Yep one of the services I offer down in Northampton... and pleased to say get people from all over the country visiting!
You wont get rich at doing it, I know my gear has cost a few thousand to get together.

Yes exactly, I make sure the owner stays with the car in the workshop and go through everything... quite surprising what 'some one has said', and ' on xyz board they say this' and frankly its rubbish! - Bit like the bits of string / length of wood on back wheels to set rear tracking...lol
