Just bought myself a tidy clubman estate (Austin/Morris) of fleabay and I couldn't have been more happy!! I didn't sleep much last night knowing I had just landed one, and such a tidy example too. Not 100% sure of all the jobs yet that need to be done, but from these pics you can see that engine bay tidy up, paint, re build etc , respray, bit of rear bins welding, respray, interior fully worked on, wheels etc etc.
Not entirely sure which way I am going to go with this, but at the minute I am thinking of going nice an original, but with a few mod cons such as stereo, alloys etc.
And finally for now ...
there you go The beginning of a nice little (slightly longer ) project for me Any ideas, tips would be most appreciated as well as a name
Cheers JK

If your going for originality will you be replacing the metal panels at the front?

I'll see how things go with the rust 'busting' first before I worry about that lol

Congrats, mine is all but a shell in the back yard at the moment. You will certainly get a shock when you price *genuine panels for the front* I'm not so sure about what pattern items you can get away with yet.

Cheers I have been looking at panels, I know, but I have some contacts, so should be able to save myself a bit
I don't know what losty means lol. But I'm not sure on it at the minute either, and it was £560 nicky!

I have some pics now, picked up today, and seems pretty tidy all in all
Push the clutch, you get a brake too! and vice versa lol! Not running yet though
Bag of swept up rust! lol
And finally for now, the best part of the poor fitting plastic front end (well in my opinion the best part) looks meaaan
