Nice and safe front suspension mounting point I think not, definite whole new inner wing, not just a half, more expense, yay
Wonder how that ever held anything, would rip away even at a slight pothole :/
New brake pipes and hoses. Will be followed by everything else new, discs, callipers etc etc
I'm bloody happy with how this has turned out so far, sump and gearbox housing have NOT been painted. Just hard graft and cleaning stuff!!!
Drivers side under susp top mounting before screwdriver inspection lol
And after!!!
And back floor in position, just to gauge what else needs cutting back etc
Final pic of this update
Hopefully next time I get something up, the back floor will be in, along with the new sill (a mini shop kindly sent me heritage and charged me for normal, but won't mention names) as well as having the engine running once again

Bit of an update, been a while, due to exams, mini shows both ones to be remembered for many years etc, but got a bit done, and hopefully the drivers side rear floor will be in soon, just needs final grinding work to ensure a perfect fit then weld away I will be going

Looks good can't wait untill you get onto the interior and exterior and when its finaly finished
Yes I agree, but they are simple things. I enjoy seeing it get a lot more solid more than nice seats I mean, one side now floor rust free is nice

Sadly I no longer have this mini. Well, it's not gone far. I graduated uni last year, and was poor, so couldn't really afford to do this. My Dad is now working hard at it. I'll get some pictures and update for him, as he's crap on forums. Engine is all but done, rear subframe is off and stripped and ready to go back on. All floors done, now for horrible bodywork holes...

So, this has been dormant for some time!!!
My Dad bought the car from me some years ago, while I was at uni, and the resto is nearly complete! Pictures to follow!!!
