I keep going back to classic imprezas. They just sound so good, and nothing like nailing a 320 hp sti and leaving cars costing 10 times as much for dead.
Just looking at our options fir a new family car. E60 M5, V 10 with 500bhp as standard, Audi RS4 or possibly Jag XJ-R.
Can't afford for another 12 months anyway, so plenty of time. Common sense may prevail and we'll end up with another diesel.

Matt (Common sense may prevail and we'll end up with another diesel.)

go take a e60 535d out with a little chip you get 345bhp with 670nm torque does 30mpg round town, only downside is i tend to eat rear tyres, the torque is unreal

It's just the way the m5 and RS4 sound though. But I do love the looks of the 5 series. Weird, as I thought it looked awful when it first came out. Cheers.

Ended up with an e91 320 D lol. Strange what happens when baby comes along. Have balanced out the lunacy though, bought triumph street triple R as well. It s amazing.
