It seems there may some confusion here as I can confirm that the fraud case is still very much live and is due back in court on Feb 7th for a 'mention', an administration type hearing.
Further to the claims made I can also confirm that Mr and Mrs Newton ARE NOT under criminal investigation in relation to this case, they are still witnesses and are unable to talk about proceedings.
I can also state that Carl Cox(the defendants husband), attacked a witness, Mr Newton , outside Lincoln Crown court at the last partial hearing. For this he received 200 hours of community service.
Obviously this is a very sensitive case and there will be no further comments as we don't want to risk jeopardizing the trial.
