I am, i've spent around £50-70 on it maybe more.

I bought K&N filter, 2x Chrome bumpers, paint, laquer, primer, new battery, engine degreaser, track rod, ball joint kit and some other bits like wet n dry, filler etc.

Going for MOT this month, as my test is booked for June when my lessons finish.

Need to get a job n get some alloys etc for it!

Sound paint work for a home spray.
How did you get the results because I will be replacing front and rear valances soon.

Some very basic advice from Haynes manuel. Wash the area's clean, to remove grub and dirt.

Then wet n dry using different grades depending on rust etc. 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of lacquer, leaving apprioate time between coats. (in a clean, non windy enviroment, like a garage)

It needs polishing and a T-cut to make it shine, i was told to wait a week for paint to harden or somet.

Front valence, front panel, wings, slam bit, drivers A panel and door have been sprayed along with rear lip on boot panel.

I used anti-rust hammerite primer for abit of protection, never know it mite help.

I might sand the passenger door and A panel tomorrow depending on weather. I get 100's of pics of anything i do, so there'll always be pics.

I got the K&N filter to fit, but cant remove the 2 circle screw things from back of carb yet, so standard 1 still fitted. :)

Needs a good clean and wash to make it shine up. Inside needs a good vac, door cards refitting and carpet and bits sticking down proper. I believe the interior is grey material from a mini mayfair or the original city's. Its got a racing steering wheel (makes it hell to turn at low speeds). Single clock dash with 46k miles.

Engine has been looked after, starts 1st time with some choke. Has had new exhaust and rear subframe before i bought it. Its got a chrome coil holder, new coil and bits. It even included the "your only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" in back window.

Heres a pic of it, in garage
