Wherever the speedo sensor comes from on a D16 Honda engine.

I assume you have but, just in case you haven't I would email Digital Speedos to see if they do a Honda version of this https://www.digital-...ter-3-wire-p471

That looks like an adapter for a stock mechanical mini speedo, but what I've found is an electronic one. It advertises that I can calibrate it by driving but there's not much more info out there than that.

You're correct. That's exactly what it is, that's why I posted it. You connect this to the speedo head and then calibrate the head by either distance or GPS. If they do a sender with a Honda fitting this would fulfil you're requirements.
