Im currently Int he process of restoring a cream 1964 austin cooper and just about to have it resprayed but was wondering if at that age they were done with the black roof and stripes on the bonnet? as an option when bought new?

roof yes, stripes no!
back then the visual notification of a cooper was a different colour roof! the usual one for an OEW mini was a black roof!
