Erm, not sure on the current price of the various frames.. I'm guessing at £400-£600
Coil overs - £300-400
Engine - £300-2500(Type R) or donor car £300-5000
Custom driveshafts - £150-350
Taller final drive(if wanted) - £350
MPi fuel tank (if needed) - £50-100
Brakes - fiesta calipers (£100), Alloy 4 pots (£300-450), Metro (£65-150)
Suspension parts - £40-100
Wheels (if you need them) - £100-500
Extended front - £100-300(composite)
Rollcage(if wanted) - £50-600(full FIA spec cage)
Buckets and harnesses - £150 - 1000
As you can see if varies greatly with the frame you buy. This dictates whether you'll be running mini susupension, steering and wheels or whether you'll be using K series parts. Theres also things like a taller final drive, which makes the Honda gearbox more suitable for mini sized wheels. Then stuff like rollcages, buckets, etc which you may not require, but alot of people choose to fit when doing these conversions.
I'd say if you *just* looking at changing you car from A series to Vtec, with the minimal amount of work and expense you'd be looking at £1000-2000, at least, then add at least 50% to that for all the little stuff you didn't think you'd need.
