the calipers where £300.
i will be having my dampers set very stiff, oh and the roll cage means i never have anyone in the back.
i am going to send a few emails to try and sort the carbon roof and bonnet. think atm i will be getting them from curley.
just emailed ABS again about the wheel arches.

may go for a set of street fighter doors, they are a damn sight lighter and cheaper than new doors.
again i need to email them to talk spec.
i would want to keep the inner door frame so i can have handles in origional places and would like some latches on the windows for security

The only thing is they dint very easily and once they dint it may spoil the look of the car a bit imo.

i sent of my cheque today for one of the ITG indution kits. it was £79.67 expensive but worth it in my opinion.
i ordered it from MBE race engines, mike was helpfull and he is also sending it carriage free bonus.
this picture is for the twin version but i will only be getting the single, should make the engine bay look a bit more puposeful

the dampers work great when your moving fast they act nice and stif but for corners when the car leans slower you can get rubbing and if i go up too steep a ramp like onto my drive sometimes it rubs i have a cage too so only taken one person in the back once just and example i was wondering how the miglia racers do it i think i read they move the suspension mounts.
when i first started driving the car i wound the dampers right up but soon learnt it doesnt work that way when you push it the car becomes all skittish and looses grip easy the suspension needs to move a bit to allow the tyres to grip were i live the roads arnt race track smooth so need alittle suspension just wondering really how people do get there cars to sit low and no have arch to tyre problems

I think they are supposed to be very good,
Just couldnt figure using one on a standard 998 when ill probably change it soon anyway (and not likly for another carbed engine).
While i was there though he got a call from a "Mr Calver"
Just guessing / assuming it was Keith.

supermotolee i wish i could get my car run as low as that black one! i am on 13"s at the moment and cant get it anywhere near as low as that. i think that if you have 10" wheels the car naturally sits lower but you can also lower a car on 10"s more.
i think miglias manage to run so low because they cut the rear arches and re weld them higher up to give more clearance.
thats good to hear edr4an, dont want to sepend loads on an air filter for it to be no good, it probably was keith calver, i think they work together alot designing tuning parts, i know these air filters where a joint effort between the two of them.

been up to mini recon and ice in wickford today and got a cyclinder head that i am going to do some mods to.
i think it is from an mg metro because the valves look quite big, but they will be changed anyway!
