Ok completly not into this whole ICE thing, and all I have is the little speakers in the back and my radio, since finally finding the code for my radio, the speakers are rubbish, cant have it loud because it vibrates and crackles to much, and I need it loud because I cant hear radio 1 over the engine noise!! do I need new speakers, how much are the standard ones, because I dont want to spend a fortune, also im assuming its the speakers? also if anyone has got standard speakers that their throwing away because they dont need them because their going bigger and louder does anyone want to give them to me, thats if its expensive for me to be buying speakers? :erm:

What head unit are you using??? if it is an oldskool 10Watt x 4 one it won't be powerful enough to run the speakers, so try getting a slightly better headunit/stereo!!!!

well iv seen these things in halfords where you put the tape in and you connect it to your cd walkman thing and then it plays your cds, will I have better sound then, or do I have to folk out money on a stero because I thought that it was the speakers that were playing up:nugget:
I know im being cheap but im a student and not in to the whole big bass thing I just want to hear my radio over the engine without crackling! so is it my speakers that are C**p or my stero, which is quite old looking! or both?

ah go-on treat yourself to a cd/radio head unit!
bout £60-70 will get you a spankin new one
try e-baying too you'll find a bargin somewhere- those tape to diskman converters are rubbish if you want any kind of a clear sound.
