I'll have to try and recreate the problem. What browser are you using? Do you have JavaScript disabled?

I shall look in to it but that's probably a server limitation.

I'm using AOL 9.5. I think JavaScript is enabled, just been through the internet options menu to security, found and checked to see if 'active scripting' was enabled, and it was. I'm not brilliant with computers, do I need to download JavaScript, as I find no mention of it anywhere on my PC?

Nah you don't need to download JavaScript.

Have you tried using a different browser? I can't say AOL browsers are known for being amazing. Download the latest Firefox/Chrome/Internet Explorer and give it a try.

I agree not to keen on the layout. The old one was easier. If I cnt get on with this layout I may be faded away with the site!

OK, just downloaded Chrome, it's brilliant and everything's working again, thanks matey :highfive:

I've looked in to this now. It's a limitation with the MySQL configuration on the server. This isn't really something we can just change. I feel your pain though, the number of times I've searched for "hub" and got nothing :(.

Glad it's all working for you now :). You're using a much better browser now too :).

Once suggestion i'd like to make is the font colours for stuff like the time/date of posts and things like sigs - I don't know if its just my eyes, but at times its a struggle to read it. Its light grey against a white background and it just doesn't work - Dark blue would be much better like the colour of peoples usernames.

Is this something that can be changed?

It shows up fine for me. Have you tried adjusting the brightness/contrast on your screen? You'd be amazed how much difference a small change can make.

I like the new forum. Took a bit of getting used to, and I do think the facebook elements are a bit pointless, but I can carry on using as I did the previous version without fuss. Some things work much smoother too, I like the options available under 'new content'.

I'm not sure if this is due to the forum or me, but when I post in my project thread with photos from flickr, the post shows all the formatting code too. Is it okay to go back and delete the code? It's only done it since the upgrade.
