Have put my new loom in, but for soome reason the engine wont switch off after I start it. I have to pull a wire off the coil to kill it.

Also the white with a red stripe wire that is the ignition live to the solonoid seems to stop near the earths that screw to the inner wing, but to make it more confusing, it finnishes in a relay type housing where the head light relay is in the later minis. So I've had to take a feed from there to the solonoid...

Does this make any sense to anyone??

I need to get my car sorted by tonight because I need it for work tomorrow!!!

Ok, have sorted that problem now, was a wire on the wrong terminal. As fot the ignition wire coming from the relay thing, it turns out the later minis had an ignition relay to ruduce the current to the solonoid.

Now tho I have 2 niggles. First one is that my rev counter jumps about all over the place, then it will sit at the right revs, then jump about again.

Second is that I cant get the fast wipe on my wipers, it could just be a bad conection or the control thingy is worn out tho, but it worked fine before.
