Looks like I might have rubbed you up the wrong way - didnt mean to - Sorry.

I hope the new pump is the answer to the problem - keep us posted.

Hi all mini fixed, On z cars advice I dumped the old busa system and fitted a bosch pump and a regulator from z cars cars going great now .Thanks for all the advice

Hi Ed the regulator was £90 posted from z cars and I had a pump in stock The bosch pumps are about the £90 mark as well I think cheers

Motorsorter, what pressure is the regulator set to? Curious for future project....

Hi The pressure is sitting at a steady 42 psi out of the box the cars running mint at that cheers

I was not able to detact error. I simply moved the original pump back to the engine to its original position and installed electric

First of all the z cars tank design isn't the best as I felt it needed a collector sump so it wouldn't suffer from fuel starvation round bends as much plus as I learnt running the fuel lines close to the coolant pipes isn't a good idea either especially in warm weather or traffic jams!!
It really needs a fuel swirl pot fed by s low pressure pump circulating fuel so it gets a constant supply an keep the lines away from heat sources as much as possible.
