Sadly my little blue Rover mini cooper sport has just been stolen. It was one of the last 500 made of the old design before they bought the huge maxi minis in (has a little plaque inside). It is in very good condition, has a silver roof with removable black roof bars. It looks exactly like this :

But without the racing stripes as I had a little crash and hadn't got around to buying some new stripes for the newly replaced bonnet. The registration is Y873TDX. It has leather seats inside.
If anyone sees this car please let me know. It was stolen in Fulham, London between 9pm and 8.30 am on Saturday September 30 (today).
Best,
Amy

Is there a lot of mini's being stolen at the moment
or is it the size of the forum ie lots of owners on here ?
I think they were one of the last easily stolen cars - sadly

Thanks - the police seem to think there is an 80pc chance of getting it back in some form... has an alarm and immobiliser but alarm wasn't on as it drains the battery too much (
Best,
Amy
was the immobiliser working?

yes immobilser was working - can't understand how they managed to steal it as the immobiliser is pretty effective. Car also didn't have that much petrol in so I'm hoping where ever they were heading they may not have got there. Either that or the thief could be caught on cctv at a petrol station
