I know a guy who, when he was taking his test many years ago. He had to use a hand signal out the window to show he was turning right, and as he put his hand out the window, he also changed gear. Driving with no hands on the wheel is not a good idea ! haha. so he failed

That's awesome.A guy I was at school with became a driving test legend round here!! He performed his entire first test faultlessly, right up until he returned to the test centre at the very end. At which point he overshot the parking space and drove into a brick wall, knocking it over and showering all the driving examiners personal cars with flying bricks and rubble!!
Needless to say he didn't pass!! ........ But the now rebuilt wall is still known as "Alan's Wall" by locals almost twenty years later!!
My brother took his CBT yesterday and can now ride his bike. He's pretty happy about it but apparently the guy spent 40 minutes talking to him afterwards deciding whether he was going to pass him or not. My brother was not hesitant in his description of the bloke.

Now I've Crashed! aha
You can't learn without mistakes, just make sure it doesn't happen again!
What've you actually done, or shouldn't I ask? More to the point, are you alright?

I suppose, but the weather hasn't been that bad at the moment and will only get worse.
I was turning a corner and skidded into a lamp post when it was icy, I was only going about 15mph as well, guess that was too fast.
I don't think the trackings out but the steering wheel isn't in line with the wheels. But they are all parallel.
I'm getting a mechanic look at it to see if it's safe to drive, and i will do the cosmetic stuff like the wing and bumper in the spring :)

Ah well, these things happen. could have been much worse!
if the tracking's fine but the steering wheel isn't straight, it means that the rack has slid along from its position.
there are two u-clamps that hold it on with two nuts under the carpet on either side. If you get the wheels pointing dead ahead, loosen the nuts, turn the steering wheel straight (without turning that wheels), it'l put the rack into the correct position. Now tighten the nuts back up TIGHT. Job done.
