Thank you,
We removed the rear valance closing panel, and started making a repair panel. Cut a hole in the boot floor.

Made and fitted a repair panel to the wheel arch.
I stripped the subframe.
Is there anyway of telling if the subframe is genuine or not?
Thanks Alex

This weekend I took apart one of the radius arms, and made a repair panel for the boot floor which we welded in.
Is there anyway of telling if the subframe is genuine or not?
Thanks Alex

I'm not sure if it's of any help, but both my original subframes have MOWOG stamped on them, although I don't know if all do.

Sorry, missed that post until now. You know the flats where you jack it up? I'm pretty sure it was either on them, or the equivalent flat bit but on the top side. I can't remember which unfortunately! It's quite a subtle stamp.
