A section just to show finished systems. Not the project area.
Many come on the fourn with systems already built seems odd there is nowhere to show finished systems.
This section would not have any work in progress shots (That's what the project section is for) it would just be a gallery of the finished item.

??

Sounds like a good idea.

When I start my system I'm not keen on posting a build thread - but would be happy to share the finished item

I'll third that.

There should be a section or even a pinned thread that we can load our pics of finished installs on to. It would be a great tool for Noobies to compare things & to aim for quality wise.

Speaking of pinned threads, can't we get a thread that has a guide to speaker selection choices, speaker placement, sound deadening choice & fitting etc. I'm sure with all the people on here who have done installs we could come up with a pretty good list just like the thread on paint colour choices in the other section.

Fourth that!

As long as it didn't get cluttered with posts complementing each other it'd be a good place to go for inspiration.

Yeah i agree, this is where we could do with an ICE section Mod.
I did ask and I got put forward to Mod this section but nothing seems to have happened. We don't seem to get much Mod attention in this section.

I've already asked for a sub section like the project section.
No answer yet.

I would imagine something like this would be difficult, simply because it would just get clogged up with people asking how things were done. If you have a thread for people to post up pictures then you'll need a thread purely for people to ask how things were done. Then, you'd have the problem of how to keep this thread organised so that people weren't just asking random questions on every build in the photo log.

The other option is just to post up pictures and not give people the opportunity to ask how things were achieved. Some people will probably do this because they don't want anyone else to know so that their car can be unique which, in my mind, kind of goes against the spirit of the forum. Other people will have built systems prior to coming on here and as such won't have pictures or details of how it was done but surely in their case a simple project log would enable them to show their build and give, at the least, a bit of very basic information about how things were achieved or who did the work if they didn't, etc.

I don't think a finished install thread would be too impractical. I mean, we already have a Mini photo album thread, and that doesn't get clogged up with people asking styling questions...

If people have questions, i'm sure they'll be reasonable people and post them where they're meant to be.

I would advocate a finished install thread :)
