I lived on the Isle of Mull for 3 years and watched the stage at Bunessan where i lived, i watched from the upstairs window in our house because our lane was shut during the stage at Ardtun ( What a pig of a road ) at night but it was,nt much better in daylight.
Is "Waggy" still involved?, i used to service his oil boiler when i lived there.

Love your pics, but I think the owner of 378 XUY, must hate having fresh air around his engine.

Car 106 (75HOF) are out with a mechanical and car 108 was rolled! not a good first night for the minis!!
Not really sure who's involved with it now mingy - that ardtun road worse than ever right now, surprised they wanted to race on it! Will get some pics of the rolled one if i can find out where it is...

I've got a friend is competing this year in a toyata 4AGE powered mk2 escort. The road between Tobermory and Dervaig/Calgary is awesome! I've been to mull a few times, and hitched a lift one day with a farmer who had once won the rally in a subaru This is definitely one i shall go and spectate one year!

Mini93 - hope your customer isn't the one that was airlifted earlier! apparently that was a pug... think most of the minis have retired now, the clubbie was going well for a while not sure if they finished yet - bloody BINI got 3rd overall!

Thanks for the update on the Ardtun road super mini mad,the council used to come the week before the rally and fill all the potholes in ( it,s true )!!!!!!!!.
One night on my way back to Ardtun from a job i hit a full grown highland cow that was spooked by something just at the scenic road junction just before the post office and pub.
I was in a ford fiesta courier van and i launched the cow right over the van,my dog ended up in the passenger footwell and the van was totally written off, i was,nt hurt but i had to get the farmer to come and shoot the cow which was in a bad way.
Two weeks later i got a bill for £400.00 from the farmer stating the cow would have been a prize winning beast.
Next time i saw the farmer,i handed him an invoice for loss of income, stress, damage to equipment, and 5 litres of luminous green paint so he can paint his ----ing cows.
I never heard another thing.
