Well decided to repair the rear doors, So did the NSR one today. Had to remove skin, repair frame, fit new skin, grind back etc.

Need to repair the OSR one later this week. Both doors were originally creased/damaged from a rear end bump. The OSR door will require a frame repair at the top.

Havent updated this, but i did repair the other door. Still needs the repair doing at the top, but I got called away half way through doing the door. With other stuff going on, I havent had time to do anything this week but need to crack on with it.

Typical, run out of welding wire when I needed it most....

Fitted the passenger door. This as been repaired prevously using a gen skin. I have shimmed the gap so it opens and closes ok. I arent happy with the shape of it above the wing mirror/start of door frame area.

Did some prep on rear doors, touch of paint. Still got to repair the upper part on OS door, but no welding wire!!!

Great stuff mate!

Glad you kept the steel front. I hate FG ones :X

So will it be ready for IMM?

Finished the OSR door welding, fitted false floor in boot, started the front to rear wiring loom etc.

Doubt it will be ready for IMM.

Done some work on the gearlinkage hole, so the rod change fits.

Then trail fitted some doors, found drivers door which fits good. Frame is ok, but previous repair/damage by an owner means theres some filler work to be done.

back on it after my holidays

wired aux fuse box and fuel pump up. Connected pump to a jerry can, engine fired and running no problem.

Started to vinyl paint the top and bottom dash rails, in meantime, trial fitted the petrol tank to ensure good fit before painting the car.

Got abit less done than I wanted too due to having to do some work on my daily.

Now sold.....moving on to a new owner to complete.

Sad times, but other priorities in life means it must go.
