Had a mapping session last Friday and spoke to the company doing it regarding the fuel pressure regulator I had and how it ran poorly once connected and could this be utilised as discussed above; I also wanted to use my AVCR for different boost settings. The basic outcome was yes and yes with regards to the use of both items. It seems that the map I had and probably yours too was set up on the TPS. They said it can be ran this way, but I would have to change to the FPR way if I wanted to use the AVCR as if not the TPS would dump the same amount of fuel in regardless of the boost setting.
So I guess the real outcome is that you don't need an adjustable FPR if your map has been set-up using the throttle position sensor. Hope that helps
What was the outcome of the rolling road session? Did they not want to run it because of the lack of a regulator?
