Bought these bonnet lifters from JonBrett on TMF and thought I'd put a few pics up of the final result and help advertise them :)

They probs wont stay on forever, just helps the induction breathe a bit better and its a bit of fun :D many warning letters placed on the windscreen telling me my bonnets open will be coming soon but sod it....i like them ;)

i take it you can still open the bonnet??

these might be good for when my mini gets hot in the summer.

That actually has a negative effect on cooling, and looks daft.

That actually has a negative effect on cooling, and looks daft.

so all the heat when im sat in traffic wont rise up??

in the summer i can see over 105 degrees when stuck in traffic.

When your driving all the air will take the easy route, through the bonnet gap, rather than going through the radiator, as for sitting in traffic, it won't make any difference.

Your Mini is too standard to do them any justice. Looks a smart car, a properly fitted bonnet would look great.

If you like them then that's all that matters, I doubt it will have a noticeable negative affect on cooling.

well not realli as the thermostat wont open unless its hot.

haha cheers bud. i just put them on for the crack, my mates put them on his fiesta mk5 and it looked quite good so thought id try it. like i say they wont stay on forever, thanks for the opinions :)
