What happens when it chucks it down with rain?

Then the engine gets additional form of extra cooling :teehee:

I wouldn't go by what your mates have on there fiestas, when you start going down that road......

Your car looks smart as it is , nice touch of mods, with that bonnet hinge it looks like you got some front end damage, your cars look can't pull it off as it stands, if you like it then thats fairy muff but it don't look right

It's fair enough that everyone wants to tell this person of their opinions of his bonnet.

But, in essence; it's his mini, so he can do what he likes to it.

The first few posts were fair enough, because they stated opinions/facts. But the last few are just taking the mickey, which isn't particularly nice.

these can be of benifit in some circumstances,

on a turbo motor with the air filter up near the bulkhead air will be pushed in at the high pressure point near the centre of the windscreen, and exit at the ride of the bonnet by the wings giving more cold air to the turbo inlet, there used to ge a good vid where someone dd a "string test" of this on the road but I think its been lost into the mists of time

that said, its better to duct the filter to the front of the car, but thats not always an option.

I used to have my bonet kicked up at the back but got fed up of being perpetually told my bonet wasnt shut...

Isn't this the equivalent of Stevie Wonder having a go at someone for being short sighted?
