The 25 has a heater that actually works, headlights that do something ,16v, mpi and dizzy less ignition as standard, 5gears, you mini lot pay stupid amounts of money for that stuff, i can actually have a conversation at motorway speed without shouting, wipers that clear the screen, not having to constantly wipe mist off the windows, not having to worry about driving in the rain, starts everytime.

Lmao, just the facts. The sooner you lot realize Minis are crap, the sooner your unconditional love for them becomes easier to understand.

Say what you like, Minis are very, very crap cars.

I'd rather own my Metro anyday of the week.

and no jealousy here. I've been on this (rapidly spiraling toward destruction) scene for long enough to have been offered hundreds of Minis for good prices. I understand the market and know what to pay for a decent Mini. The only reason I dont own a Mini, is because I dont want one anymore.

I think you're missing the point of why we all own Minis.

Which is why I've managed to kill so many a series engine, but I know the a series is a good engine. Yes the k series has head gasket troubles, but that's caused by not regularly checking coolant level or having any anti freeze additive, their fine with the uprated head gasket fitted.

You can get a LOT more power from a K-series, even an 8v for a FRACTION of the price of getting that power from a (still) unreliable A-series.

K-series is a great engine, if you look after it it'll look after you, and that is genuinely true. My brothers ZR has done well over 100k on the same HG it left the factory on.
