Hello i have acquired a front subframe believed to be a metro frame , although the engine i have does not fit the fit the frame.
The engine i have is out of a pre 1994 metro gta, 1400 8v. The location of the engine mountings on the frame are nothing like the ones on the engine.

The frame i have has still retains metro hydo suspension and has a engine mounting on the front and back, no mountings located on the timing belt side and two on the gearbox side, it also has a anti roll bar fitted to the front,

Was wondering if anyone could tell me what model this frame is put of and whether i could still use this?? was wondering if the frame the frame is from a Rover 100 or 214??

Any help would be great..

Thanks

It should just be a case of swapping engine mounts over. Get a few pictures up of the subframe and someone should be able to tell you what it was originally from and which car you want the engine mounts from.
