As in description I took a detour off the road and went through a barb wire fence (not in a Mini). Dented some panels but got scratches everywhere. So until I can raise the cash to rectify my problem I need something to protect the body from rust.

Someone said I should use a paint pen in the same colour but is there something else I can use to stop bare metal from rusting?

When I say everywhere I mean Everywhere. Across the length of the bonnet, front wings, some of the roof. An expensive mistake.

i think painting over the scratches is about the only way, unless you laqure it???
