Slow progress still but I converted my regular bushed tie bars to accept rose joints.

So things have been very slow as I've been saving for a house but I've been chipping away at little things. One of the smaller items nearing completion:

It's all been TIG welded by myself but I could do with being neater.

Forgot to add the reason for doing so:

 

I was planning on using the escort pedal box but soon realised that I'd have no clearance for the steering column and I didn't really want to modify it. The reason for not using something off the shelf was purely cost. It was cheaper for me design the plates and have them laser cut and buy oilite bushes than it would have been to buy something decent like a Wilwood set up.

Nice to see progress!

You tried the mirror with the seat in position? Have to hang mine straight down to get a good viewing angle.
